Voluntary deregistration of a Company or cc - R7500

Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (“CIPC”) will from 1 July 2022 allow voluntary deregistration applications in terms of Section 82(3) of the Companies Act, 2008 (“The Act”) where the company or close corporation status is that of AR Deregistration – status description 38.
You can also apply for the deregistration of a company or close corporation if the status us still active and you no longer would like to trade. 

What is included and the process?

• Company Income Tax Return (CIT) - Must have Annual Financial Statements or not trading
• Please note that the price above does not include any drafting of Financial Statements or allocation of transactions that will be quoted separately
• Obtain a tax clearance certificate from SARS
• Complete the legal documents and request CIPC to voluntarily deregister the company
• Received the confirmation from CIPC
• Request SARS to deregister the Company and all associated tax types.
